Today I'm starting this blog to show case my crafts that I do.
Tatting, quilling, quilting, scrapbooking, card making, baking and genealogy.

Let's start with Genealogy/family history:
To start your family history start with yourself when were you born date, time and place then who are your parents when were they born date, time and place include town, city, county and state. go to their parents and so on go as far as you can go. Then do you have brothers or sisters do the same for them. Also if your parents have any brothers and sisters do the same for them. But please be careful, family history is additive. I have tried quilling my friend Linda did quilling and before she passed away she gave me all of her quilling stuff next yr I want to do more of it 2017.
Quilting I have made some quilts and want to do a few more quilts are so much warmer then anyother blanket.
Scrapbooking - When my grandson was a baby I did a bit of scrapbooking and will do more soon.
Card Making - I do love to make my own holiday cards but I like to start them in the summer time, Which I did not do this yr (2016).
Baking-Since I am now a diabetic I have had to change my baking for the holidays no sugar added. I use the the sugar free sugar. You really cannot tell after you get use to it. I did banana bread and my grand son could not tell. He is now almost 12.

My grandson is now 12 yrs old and will soon be 13 in July2018
I'm about to get married again in a few weeks this will be the third and last time, I'm hoping!
I have not done any quilts or quilling or scrap booking, I mainly do tatting only, Tatting is NOT a lost Art, it is lace making and I'm working on a Red and Black Doily for a friend I went to High School with. It use to take me a week to do when the grandson was in diapers. My web page for my daughter is no longer up but I will be putting it back up in a month or so. I will also start making cards again and will take pictures of them as I finish them.
